SEMO Electric also helps local businesses, churches, and schools with lighting rebates. Each rebate has its own guidelines.  All rebates are subject to individual conditions and exclusions. C&I incentives/rebates may be taxable and if greater than $600, should be reported to the IRS by Cooperative as income to recipient on IRS Form 1099-MISC unless member has identified themselves as a corporation or as tax exempt entity. Room/Window AC-  50% of cost up to $50.00

Electric Water Heater- $165.00

Heat Pump Water Heater- 50% of cost up to  $500.00

Energy Star Advanced Thermostat- 50% of cost up to $50.00

Programmable Timer- Engine Block Heater- 50% up to $15.00

C&I High Efficiency Motor- Based on Horsepower (cannot exceed 50% of equipment cost)

C&I Variable Frequency Drives for HVAC Pumps and Fans- $50.00 per Brake Horsepower (BHP) of motor driven by VFD

Ground Source Heat Pump- $750.00 per ton up to 10 tons for residential and 50 tons for commercial

Ground Source Heat Pump (Pump Unit Only)- $150.00 per ton up to 10 tons for residential and 50 tons for commercial

Air Source Heat Pumps and Mini-Split Heat Pumps- $250.00 per ton up to 10 tons for residential and 50 tons for commercial

Business Lighting- Based on Cost Savings of Replacement Bulbs

Electric Vehicle Charging Station- $250.00 per Level 2 Chargers (limited to two per member)
