What to Include with Your Rebate Application.

An itemized and dated receipt or invoice.

Participants must be City of Ames Electric Services’ customers.

Equipment must be purchased prior to submission of application.

Rebate will not exceed 50% of equipment cost.

Applications must be submitted no more than six months after purchase of equipment, unless otherwise authorized.

Rebate checks will be issued to account holder in existing buildings unless otherwise established on the application. Checks will be issued to builder/general contractor in new buildings unless otherwise established on the application.

Rebates may be subject to income tax. Consult your tax advisor for more information.

Rebate forms must include full name of recipient and full installation/mailing address with suffix (e.g. Ave, St, Dr, Rd).

Smart Energy programs are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

Rebates are subject to availability of funds.

Applications must be completed in full, incomplete applications will delay processing and may be returned.
